“Fortunately, through continuing innovations, adapting tenant mixes, and capital investment, retail property owners can moderate many potential declines in retail demand from consumers. In the long term, rent pressure is expected as and when the communication distribution channel grows,”
Even if technology is such a big help for us, there is a big possibility that technology have less demand in some areas and may have increased demand in other parts. The situation is more of a “win some, lose some” situation based on properties and geographic markets.
